Mr. Bakary Yerima is an affectionate and motivated Consultant based in Paraguay. He is responsible for BIC Services ecotourism consultancy in Paraguay and all of Latin America. He is an exceptional problem solver with a Business & Management acumen. Bakary Yerima believes that ecotourism is a tool that can be used in:

1. addressing poverty and reducing inequality
2. tackling climate change, building climate and disaster resilience, and enhancing environmental sustainability
3. making cities more livable
4. promoting rural development and food security
5. strengthening governance and institutional capacity
6. fostering regional cooperation and integration

Mr. Bakary Yerima possesses a resourceful background with competencies gained from being an Entrepreneur with great innovative initiatives and leadership of many successful business projects around the world. He has a dedicated interest, passion and commitment to implementing projects in sustainable development. He is a promoter of green ecology and believes that government entities should adapt to and adopt green economies. An economy that aims at reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities, and that aims for sustainable development without degrading the environment.

As a team, we are capable of working to develop permissible and ecologically sound ecotourism infrastructure; identify and promote lesser known areas having ecotourism potential in addition to popular destinations; diversify the range of eco-tourism activities available at destinations; and secure the involvement of the local communities living in, and dependent on, peripheral and other areas for their livelihoods.

I love carrying out projects that will lead to the creation of sustainable products and services. Creating new products and services which stimulate new employment, and ultimately result in the acceleration of economic development. Also, implementing projects will inevitably lead to collaboration with people from different backgrounds. I believe collaborative problem solving leads to better outcomes.
